Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Astera Bond. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
Astera Bond is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and are legally able to accept these Terms.
3. Purpose of the App
Astera Bond provides relationship-oriented entertainment, educational, and self-reflection tools. Features may include self-reflection tests, connection profiles, partner snapshots, relationship context, compatibility-style summaries, and other reflective content.
4. Your account
The App may create an anonymous Firebase account and assign a unique user identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for activity occurring through your App installation or linked account.
5. Your content and information about others
You retain responsibility for information you enter into the App. Do not upload or enter content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, or that you do not have the right to provide.
If you enter information about another person, use only what is reasonably necessary. We encourage nicknames instead of full legal names and discourage unnecessary sensitive information.
6. Prohibited use
- harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or exploit another person;
- make unlawful decisions about another person based on App results;
- submit content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, Firebase project, APIs, or other users' data;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or abuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise;
- use the App for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
7. Relationship and safety decisions
The App may highlight patterns or observations for reflection, but it cannot know another person's thoughts, intentions, or future behavior. You remain solely responsible for your decisions, communications, boundaries, and personal safety.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the App, comply with law or platform requirements, maintain security, or address technical issues. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available.
9. Intellectual property
Astera Bond, including its design, original text, test structures, graphics, branding, and software, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for its intended purpose.
10. Third-party services
The App may depend on third-party platforms and services such as Google Play and Firebase. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Deleting your account
You may delete or request deletion of your Astera Bond account and associated data as described on the Data Deletion page.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that reflective outputs will be accurate or appropriate for every person or relationship.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply in your country or region of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will be changed when material revisions are published.
