Astera Bond for Claude

Remote MCP connector documentation

What it does. Astera Bond helps users keep separate relationship Connections, analyze individual interaction episodes relative to a user-selected relationship goal, save past events on their real dates, and review how saved episodes change over time.

Connect Astera Bond to Claude

  1. Open Claude and go to Customize → Connectors.
  2. Choose Astera Bond from the directory once published, or add the provided remote MCP URL as a custom connector during testing.
  3. You can use a one-off unsaved episode analysis before signing in.
  4. When you request saved Connections, history, or a save/update action, Claude will ask you to connect your Astera Bond account through OAuth.
  5. Sign in with a supported Astera Bond authentication method and return to Claude.

Astera Bond uses OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration and PKCE. Claude receives an Astera authorization token, not your account password.

Core workflows

Example prompts

Analyze this interaction relative to my relationship goal and separate observable facts from unknowns: "They said they want to meet next week, but they did not suggest a day."
Using my existing Connection named Alex, summarize how my saved episodes have been moving relative to my relationship goal.
This happened on March 15, 2026. Analyze and save this episode to my existing Connection named Alex: "We agreed to meet the following week, but no exact date was set."

Episode Signals

Signals are episode-specific and goal-relative:

An Episode Signal is not a score of a person, a diagnosis, a personality label, a safety assessment, or a global rating of a relationship. Astera Bond does not expose numeric partner/personality scores in the public connector.

Data handling

The connector receives only the tool arguments needed for the action the user requested. It does not query Claude memory, chat history, conversation summaries, or user files.

The MCP does not store raw screenshot image bytes or full raw pasted message transcripts. When the user explicitly saves an episode, Astera Bond stores bounded structured relationship-episode data needed for the saved Connection and timeline.

Saved Astera Bond data is hosted using Google Firebase / Google Cloud. For full details, retention information, third-party processors, and deletion controls, see the Privacy Policy.

Premium access

The connector may read an existing Astera Bond entitlement to make already-included saved-history or trend features available. The Claude connector does not request payment-card data and does not initiate checkout.
