Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Astera Tarot & Astrology ("Astera"), including the Astera plugin/MCP service available through ChatGPT or another compatible AI client. Astera is operated under the MAKS ASTERA brand by an individual developer.
1. Acceptance
By using Astera, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Astera provides
Astera provides Tarot and astrology tools, which may include card readings, structured Tarot spreads, natal chart calculations, synastry, solar returns, personal horoscopes, lunar guidance, zodiac compatibility and related interpretive content.
Features may change, be improved, temporarily unavailable or discontinued as the service evolves.
3. Free and connected-account access
Some Astera features are available without sign-in. Certain full analyses may be available to users who already have an eligible Astera account or entitlement. When you connect an account, Astera may verify the account's existing access status.
4. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for using only accounts you are authorized to access. Astera may refuse or terminate a connection when authentication is invalid, expired, abusive or presents a security risk.
5. Your inputs
You are responsible for the information you submit. Do not provide information that you are not legally permitted to share. When submitting another person's birth information for synastry or compatibility, you are responsible for having an appropriate basis to use that information.
6. Interpretive nature of results
Tarot and astrology are interpretive systems. Astera does not guarantee that a prediction, interpretation, compatibility assessment, date, event or outcome will occur. Results should be treated as reflective or informational material rather than verified facts about the future.
7. No professional advice
Astera is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, investment, emergency or safety service. Do not use Tarot or astrology output as the sole basis for decisions in these areas. Seek a qualified professional when professional advice is appropriate.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Astera, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent access controls, reverse engineer protected service components, automate abusive traffic, or use the service in violation of applicable law or the terms of the AI client through which you access Astera.
9. Intellectual property
Astera's software, visual presentation, structured interpretations, original text, branding and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Astera intellectual property to you.
You may use the results you receive for personal purposes, subject to applicable law and the terms of the AI client. You may not falsely represent Astera software, branding or proprietary content as your own service.
10. Third-party services
Astera depends on third-party services such as cloud infrastructure, authentication, geocoding and the AI client through which you use the plugin. Those services may be governed by their own terms and policies. Astera is not responsible for outages or changes caused solely by third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
11. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, limit or discontinue parts of Astera for maintenance, security, legal, technical or product reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Astera is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties that every result will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Astera will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from reliance on interpretive outputs, service interruptions, third-party services, or unauthorized use of an account. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Termination
You may stop using Astera at any time and may disconnect the account connection through ChatGPT or the relevant AI client. We may restrict access when necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements or material violations of these Terms.
15. Governing rules
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the service operator and the user, including mandatory consumer-protection rules that cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that applicable law gives you automatically.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Astera changes. The current version will be published at this URL with the updated date.
